Going to the gym routinely and maintaining a fit body is a common trend nowadays. Exercise keeps muscles toned and in good shape. So, if you are into gym workouts or planning to engage yourself in working out for a fit body, what do you do if you end up tweaking or pulling a muscle? Do you have a handy remedy that could easily alleviate muscle aches and pain? One suggestion is the Tiger Balm. They are in stores all throughout the world that’s why you can’t miss this soothing rub paste.

Tweaked or pulled muscles are caused by excessive stretch while the muscle is in use during workouts. The muscle can cause injury on surrounding soft tissue, most likely tendons and ligaments. Muscles and tissues go weaker and small movement causes aches and pain. Applying a tiger balm in the affected area gives off an analgesic effect which penetrates the skin for long lasting relief. In addition, the knowledge of it as a natural remedy contributed to its popularity in soothing muscle pains.

Tiger balm also has a soothing effect on sinuses acting as a decongestant. It is also known to ease headaches. Other than that, it does not stain your clothes so you do not have to worry about that. You can also wear it while working out to prevent joint stiffness. As you go along with your exercise routine the paste rub also works with you through your drills.

Cool right? So it is a great thing to keep it in your gym bag. BUT, make sure to keep it in its required surrounding temperature. Extremes in temperature may affect the consistency of the paste and may also alter its effect. Also remember that it is not to be applied on severely injured muscles. If you tweak your back a little bit but you still want to do some bicep curls but the activity causes pain just slap some of this on the area and be relieved. Go ahead with your bicep curls and get bigger arms, problem solved. Tiger Balm is the answer. Hooray!
